About me:
I'm a 30something married fashion designer living in Northern VA. I did an apprenticeship several years ago at the Red Sage restaurant in Washington, DC, which further sparked my longtime love of cooking for family and friends. I like to cater for my friends' parties, too. Now that I work from home and can make my own schedule, I'm able to ascribe more to the Slow Food movement and do as far as possible to buy & cook organic and/or local and sustainable foods. I'm a one-woman war against high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and am working to get it out of my family's diet as far as possible.

Baby Back Ribs

Makes a tender rib. Just wasn't overly impressed with the flavor (even after letting it sit in the BBQ sauce overnight).

Lemon Rosemary Salmon

Reviewed on Aug. 23, 2008 by April Stewart
One of the other reviews suggested to marinate the salmon with garlic, rosemary spings, lemon juice and olive oil. I did just that and I did not like how it turned out. The lemon was overpowering the other flavors in dish. Maybe if I followed the inital instructions it may have turned out better.

Zucchini Pasta II

This was really good. But I feel like with the additions I made it would have been five stars, I added cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese. Thanks.
