About me:
I am a struggling pastry chef, meaning I am trying to fine tune my skills so i can one day be a celebrity chef, Thats what I'm aiming for. I want to one day turn on the tv and see my smiling face every where i turn. That my sound a little vain, but thats what i've wanted to be ever since i was 5 years old watching Julia Childs and the Cajun Chef on Tv. After i graduated from high school i went to culinary school at the Art Institute of Houston, there i earned my degree in culinary arts, and 1 year later went back to earn my degree in baking and pastry. Now I'm just training and practicing and waiting for my day to come and Be the Next, Rachel Ray, or Bobby Flay!!

Barbarella's German Pancakes

Reviewed on Mar. 31, 2007 by breakfastqueen
Fabulous! My tips are to add about a 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract, and you can cut out about 150 calories by using Splenda instead of sugar, you can't tell the difference! Also, I stuffed the inside with hot strawberries in a Butter Lite syrup. My favorite pancake recipe by far!

Awesome Broccoli-Cheese Casserole

Reviewed on Dec. 25, 2006 by WYdolfin
We made this for Christmas - we did tweak the recipe a little. Instead of 1 cup may we added a half cup of mayo and a half cup of sour cream. We added some of the onion crispy things that are typically added to a green bean casserole. Cheesy, creamy, and it will appeal to many people. Suggestions for the future: Use fresh broccoli, use an original type of cheese like an asiago perhaps.

Asparagus Roll-Ups

Reviewed on Dec. 25, 2006 by WYdolfin
We made these for Christmas. They were good, and they dissapeared quickly. But there were a few shortcomings. - They are very filling at the current size to have as an appetizer before dinner. We would recommend cutting them into even smaller pieces, or just serving them on an occasion where appetizers are the main event. - The overwhelming flavor is the cream cheese. Of course it tastes good, but the flavors aren't anything original, so don't choose this recipe if you are really looking to impress.
